Anyone else read laurell k. hamilton books?

Yes, I have most of her Anita Blake series and Merry Gentry series. I liked them. The Blake series got somewhat boring after book 9 then picked up again at Skin Trade. It took me a while to get into the Gentry series. They were okay until Stroke of Midnight. They got better after that. Yes, sometimes, she does go off point but I don't think it's completely unnatural all the time. I like the story enough to overlook those things. :)
