Did my new look attract him?

This guy sits behind me in my homeroom cl. I'm a quiet girl and I usually keep to myself at school. I wear gles and I wear my hair up in a ponytail and I'm smart. As they say so at school. Before I changed myself, he wouldn't really say anything to me. His friends used to tease me and stuff, but that was it. He would say a few stuff to me and he respected me, but his friends would still act dumb. When I went to school one day, I had my hair down and I wasn't wearing my gles. I was wearing contacts. People were staring. Boys and Girls were staring. I went into homeroom and I sat down in the seat I sit in. He ignored the usually girl he talks to and was trying to talk to me. I sat there most of the cl period reading a book and he kept tapping on my shoulder trying to talk to me. I was showing that I wasn't interested and that I wanted to keep to myself. He would keep tapping on my shoulder just about almost every day now.
