How should the relatonship between father and daughter be In islam? Details? hadith proofs would be grea?

I lke to know how ts suposed to be between father and daughter according to Islam,because my father is a very short tempered person, and says things that are not very nice,I know it is wrong for sure, but like to know what possible ways might be dong that is wrong on my side n his side
